Flaminia Minor Gravel

Gravel ride from Bologna along the Flamina Minor to Passo della Raticosa and back by asphalt. Departing from Bologna, by asphalt and small roads to SanLazzaro, Pulce, Lungo Idice (dirt road) and then follow the signs to climb the ridge (trail) and intercept the Falminia Minor. The trail runs along the ridge of gullies so it is only passable with dry ground and alternates sections of trail with dirt roads. Pedalable 95% (some climbs pushable). In the final stretch many puddles (even in dry periods) caused by motorcycles and off-road vehicles. You arrive just below the Raticosa pass. Return by asphalt to the idice valley floor, passing through Monterenzio.
