Fiumalbo trails
In my opinion the most beautiful all mountain tour you can ride from Fiumalbo. Some caveats: at the beginning of the ride, after passing the valley village, you take trail 487 which is a fairly steep forest road I would say a good 20% average. If you prefer you can go by asphalt road to Doccia del Cimone and then take the forest road that goes up to Pian Cavallaro on which trail 487 joins. On this trail I took a detour to get to Alpicella del Cimone but then I had to climb 2/3 hills with several pushing sections, so you can avoid and continue on forest road until it intersects cai trail 477 towards le Polle. It starts with a nice single track then widens into a cart track which then splits into two trails, one to the left, 477A, which goes down to the Polle and then back up to the start of the descent, or I continued on 477 today because I wanted to get directly to the start of the descent named Stairway to heaven, red trail marker number 7.
Nice and long descent with no particular difficulty, I recommend as fact to take the detour to the pine forest, however there are many variations, I recommend for those who are not familiar to contact the guys who run the Straydogs school area. Once you reach the end of the descent you are in Riolunato and you can return via road to Fiumalbo, instead I preferred to return practically to Polle via asphalt to take another path, the 479, to return via dirt road to Fiumalbo but I got confused and went down to Vaglie then Pezzole and arrived at Ponte della Fola to return sadly via asphalt road to Fiumalbo.
