Passo di Grialeggio, Monte Venturosa, Passo Baciamorti, Cassiglio
Loop tour with ascent to Grialeggio Pass, optional shoulder/push climb to Mt. Venturosa (2000 meters), return to Grialeggio Pass, descent into Asinina Valley to Pizzino, ascent to Baciamorti Pass, and final big descent on Cassiglio. Without the shoulder climb to Venturosa (which is optional), the tour is done either by mtb or emtb, the descents are never extreme. The climb to Grialeggio pass even by emtb needs a good leg and engine. Long and challenging tour of 2000 meters of elevation gain without Venturosa; 2300 with Venturosa.
Start from Camerata Cornello, climb 650 meters of elevation gain on comfortable asphalt. Then on challenging trail for another 200 meters. Up to Grialeggio pass, 70% climb on emtb; on mtb it's all pushing (1707 meters). From the pass optional stage to Mt Venturosa almost all shoulder/push. From Venturosa top 360° panorama of the whole valley and mountains.
For the descent, returning from where you climbed is an S3+, following the trail is an S4 with numerous S5 passages. Back to Grialeggio pass you descend to Asinina valley (towards Pizzino) by easy and very nice trail S2. Followed by traverse with many challenging MTB relaunches and ascent to Baciamorti pass, with last 150 partly rideable even in MTB (in emtb you ride all of it).
Descent to Cassiglio S2/S3 with some S4 passages and first short part with some exposed sections to pay attention to. From Cassiglio it is possible to descend all on asphalt along the Val Brembana bike/pedestrian path or by S2 trails following the track with several uphill sections.
