This round can be safely classified, as difficulty, between S2and S3. That said, let us explain the reason for this classification. Let's start with the first climbs, you will face, for the first 10 km or so, climbs with gradients that hardly go below 20%, at one point the Garmin marked 29.5%; and here you take home about 800 meters of positive elevation gain, maybe even a little more.

Of course, past this initial section the route becomes "gentler," although there are no shortage of tears that will force you to use all the teeth in your crown.

The nature and the views, however, will make you forget the effort made. The descents are at times flowing and at times very technical with passages over slippery rocks and boulders not inclined to be overcome. The intermediate treat is when you reach, via a descent to be done all in one breath, the Valle delle Cartiere. From here on it is all up and down.
