Forcella Cormolina
Route with last cycloalpine part, with a first asphalt climb up to Verzegnis and then on steep dirt road and some cemented ramps with breaths up to the saddle of the marble quarry, short falsopiano up to Casera Val and last shoulder climb up to Forcella Cormolina, then down on CAI path 806, steep path on rocks and pastures, then forest, technical and challenging.
Starting from Invillino, climb on asphalt to Chiaicis, then climb again to the junction to Assais, where the steepest climbs begin, with ramps alternating with short breaths in the woods with few glimpses of the valley until the viewpoint of Casera Presoldon for a break and restart uphill again to beyond the panoramic chair and to the saddle at the marble quarry. From here, proceed briefly on a falsopiano between pastures to Casera Val where the dirt road ends and the trail to Forcella Cormolina begins, where you cross the ridge trail between Monte Lovinzola and Monte Verzegnis to descend northward on CAI trail 806, steep rocks and meadow with treacherous overhanging rocks, followed by a wide section on a gentle fast descent to Casera Lovinzola di sotto, where you turn left to enter the woods, very steep in places with tight hairpin bends and exposed, narrow spots, slippery bottom in places, very long and challenging to the Tagliamento near Invillino bridge, a short push uphill and closing on dirt road to the bridge.
