Giro delle frazioni di Verzegnis
Account of the trip made on August 16, 2024. Departed at 6:20 a.m. by bike from Villa di Verzegnis at the time of the bridge over rio Florean, that of the aga pudia, and Chiaicis to get to the lake; photo with Mt. Amariana, the mountain of the tolmezzini, and steep asphalt climb of about 1.2 km to the little chapel crossroads between Pusea and Dueibis.
Counterclockwise loop that takes us down to Pusea and then after about 5 km of asphalt begins the dirt road on wide road for about 1 km. Now turn left, leaving the main mule track and a tin shed on the right: it is a mostly pushy km on a very bumpy surface until you reach the top of a small hill among the beech trees. You descend on the opposite side on a very flowing path and then with gravel to arrive at Dueibis and then the little chapel. Continue on the only road at the crossroads not yet traveled that leads to Fuignis, below the road to Sella Chianzutan. You cut a few hairpin bends in the road via the small road through the woods and arrive about 100 meters below the turn-off for Assais and from there down to Chiampamano.
The most beautiful downhill section of the entire trail begins, indicated with a few signs, initially bike prohibited and allowed; it is a path in the woods that skirts the slopes of Mt. Navado, very varied with flowing sections and sections with roots. Finally you arrive at Paradise Water and Villa di Verzegnis. Total route of 815 meters of elevation gain requiring 3-3.30 hours total including photo breaks and pushing part above Pusea.
