Miniere di Monteneve (Schneeberg)
Very challenging route but with superb high mountain views to the Monteneve mines, the highest in Europe and now disused. Ascend on asphalt to the junction with the forest road to the Obere Gastalm (refreshment). From here a few minutes push and you reach the nice pedalable path to the mines, where you arrive with a very steep last section. Possibility of refreshment at the Monteveveve hut. Short hike above the mines and then down on the challenging trail near the old tracks with beautiful views of the valley below. After passing over the multicolored plateau, descend on trail and cart track to the Rombo state road. The next descent on trail is very nice, but at the creek there is still a long bike ride up to the village of Corvara. To avoid it just descend on the state highway.
