Cima Bella
This route is especially recommended for ski mountaineering bikers, as it retraces an area that is very popular in the winter months. Departing from the Locanda al Camoscio, it climbs up gradients that are always very challenging in some sections (many, like yours truly, will get off the bike to push for short stretches), until you reach the junction just above an altitude of 1500 meters where you keep to the right and, on more human gradients, reach the Fontanafredda fork.
From here you follow a vague cattle-ruined track that climbs rapidly to the left (west, bike on shoulder) until you reach the ridge, then easily (push) on a very scenic route, you reach the summit. The descent follows the ridge down to the Cocco saddle (splendid S1), then fairly freely over meadows back to the crossroads at elevation 1500 (S2 sections) where we turn detra following briefly a forest track that we abandon, to follow a very uncertain track that takes us to the Cocco village. From here again for a short stretch by forestry, which you abandon to take a nice path through the forest, unfortunately the first part is cluttered with crashes, which are very easily overcome, but force you to get off the bike several times. Then the path becomes clear again and you come out onto a meadow from which you join the forest road again, which after a few hundred meters you abandon for the last steep singletrack that takes you back to the bridge over the creek and then to the parking lot.
