Monti Sibillini Bikepacking giorno 1

First day of this beautiful trip in the middle of the Sibillini Mountains along the lines of the G.A.S. with some modifications to the original route. We start from Visso and immediately enter the heart of these beautiful mountains passing through the Val di Panico on fairly wide and well-maintained white roads and forestry, we then continue on a short single track and again through mountain pastures until we devalue and begin the descent that immediately shows us downstream Fiastra with its namesake lake with its bewitching color.

Short stop for lunch and to put our feet in the cool of the lake and then we climb again on gravel roads until we find again the asphalt above Bolognola that will lead us up to Pintura di Bolognola where we will sleep for the first night. Quite a challenging day in terms of km and elevation gain but wonderful for the scenery and emotions given.
