Giro del Grandubbione - Colle del Besso - Monte Cristetto
Departure from Pinerolo cemetery on Via San Pietro Val Lemina. Ascent on asphalt to the Cro. White road in the woods to Besso pass through beech forests and other hills with beautiful panoramic views. From Besso you carry the bike on your back in the direction of Mt. Cristetto. I left the bike at the anticima because it is more comfortable to do the last 5 minutes on foot over rocky cliffs. Beautiful view from Mount Cristetto: view over three valleys (Dubbione, Sangone, Cro) to sweeping up to Monviso. Descent: resumed the bike, freeride to the Besso pass. From Col to Vincent bridge single track on fixed stones S1-S2 first, S2-S3 later (drop, rock garden, long rocky sequences) watch out for deceptive foliage. Afterwards continue quietly to the entrance of the 7 Bridges trail: a scenic gem surrounded by wilderness with repeated crossings over the Dubbione with aesthetic bridges. Quiet S1 difficulty. Last piece towards Pinasca on single track in the woods with easy technical passages, S1. From the state highway take the Ciclabile Olimpica to return to the car without being bothered by traffic.
