Terza via Scalelle e Hardking

We start from the locality of Forcella just before the town of Pescosolido with a small asphalt stretch to the meadows of the same name, a short dirt road and the Lacerno Q8 trail begins, which, with lots of pedaled and some pushing segments, takes us to Campi di Grano and its refuge. We continue with pedaled and push segments to the Sclelle pass.

Beginning of the descent with a very first segment in common with the classic Q9 , but we proceed further down on gravel and challenging trail, which with hairpin bends and a few technical passages directs us into the woods. The first part has numerous hairpin bends and technical passages, then the trail becomes smoother but still full of beautiful switchbacks with views of Sora and its beautiful valley, until we reach the meadows of Santa Lucia. We continue on trail until we reach Fonte Carovenzi, where the most difficult section begins on a beautiful and challenging trail, where lovers of the rough will find bread for their teeth with trialistic passages on fixed and loose rocks. The ride ends on the famous Hardking, a toxic and challenging trail where you have to pull out all your often trialistic technique to avoid the foot down.
