Montello Tour

This route taken from the Gran Fondo for Mtb "La Terre Rosse 2013" held on 21/07/2013 is a real tour of Montello because it goes around it far and wide. Starting from the parking lot of the Volpago del Montello Sports Center, where you can park your car, the route winds through dirt roads and many paths that immerse the biker totally in the Montello woods. The paved road runs in small, almost nonexistent sections.

Do not ride this route if there has been heavy rain the days before, because mud on these trails becomes a serious problem! Some trails are marked by "gullies" on the bottom, so watch out for possible falls. In some sections of trails then there are roots and large rocks surfacing. If you are short of water make a small detour to the drinking fountain in the area of the Parish of St. Mary of Victory refreshment for all cyclists who ride through the area.
