Anti Foes, Orizzonte Trail, E1

This time the start will be in Pegli, be careful not to underestimate the tour, in spite of the relatively low km it will be a really tough ride. Reach the summit of Pegli, after which go over the bar and shortly after take the Trail in the Woods, it will be our climb up to the antennas for all three ascents. Climb up to Pian delle Monache, take the small path that passes to the right of the farm and reach the Fossa del Lupo, from here take the path that goes towards the sea until we find a small path on the right that we should take. Climb up to the start of Anti Foes.

Anti Foes is a challenging trail, with many mostly fixed rocks, going down to the sea, after the Colombo Gorge at the first fork keep right and go along Sportiggia, after that go along DH Salgari to the Horizon neighborhood, go through the middle of the houses, open and close the gate of the dog area and go along Crazy Doc trail all in all easy.

Return to Trail in the Woods and climb to Pian delle Monache, turn right and climb to the Crestino start. From here take Horizon Trail, a fairly flowing trail (the only one in Pegli), very nice, reach again the neighborhood from which the trail takes its name, and climb back up to the usual Trail in the Woods and this time reach the Wolf Pit. Here is the last descent of the day: the E1. Take the trail down to the sea, pass the fork taken in the first descent and go straight down passing also the Anti Foes intersection. This is really a tough trail, passed the Columbus Gorge descend again towards the sea, but at the fork this time keep left. Reached a junction keep left again, passed in front of Cascina Grimaldi, go down to Via A.Vespucci, go down on asphalt to Pegli. You will have deserved a nice little beer on the Pegli waterfront!
