Strada della Forra, monte Bestone, bocca Sospiri e altro

Tour that develops on the west shore of Lake #garda in the Tremosine area. The tour features beautiful viewpoints, special views and the wonderful Forra, no shortage of nice descents.

We start from Campione: proceed on the old road that runs along the lake (it is paved on the ground, but there is a ban on passage due to falling rocks, we passed, but as an alternative there is the state highway tunnel), go up the old Strada della Forra and at the height of the trattoria La Brasa deviate to the right on sometimes challenging dirt roads to climb to Mount Bestone, from where there is a spectacular view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. You descend northward on trail 161, I would say S1, which has about thirty narrow switchbacks that are almost all doable even without nose press, circumnavigate the Dalvra hump then climb up to the Sospiri mouth, from there splendid descent on stony S3 and return to the previous trail and take the fun S2 descent along the stream that leads to the village of Villa. Pass Voiandes and continue following the track for more S1 up and down trails until returning to the Strada della Forra and returning to Campione from the starting road. Ride done by ebike.

Update, the initial section of the trail where there was a rockfall ban is unusable due to new landslide on 12/20/2023, interdicted section to be avoided.
