Croce Poverzone

Itinerary that would have included an ascent to Mt. Rolla unfortunately missed due to snow. Comfortable ascent on asphalt with little to no traffic, very shady at this time (November).

Arrived at Croce di Poverzone we enjoy a great view of Valtellina and put on our protections. The descent begins on a nice super-difficult S2+ that could continue all the way down.

Following the trail we join the Paiosa, the junction is a fairly long (about 30/40minutes) and very little pedaling. From the Paiosa begins a fun easy S2- descent that shortly after becomes a more technical S3 with interesting passages unfortunately not very enjoyable in this season because of the foliage.

When you reach the valley you can return to the car on asphalt or follow the trail for some easy S1 very cross country.
