Col d'Anzana con discesa verso Teglio
From Tirano (440 meters), toward the Rhaetian slope the ascent takes place in Switzerland. Descending to the col D'Anzana pass at 2224 meters we return to Italy, downhill through pine forests, woods and vineyards in a wide loop .
We head towards the Rhaetian side, past the Swiss customs at Campascio we take the road to Cavaione and climb the Saent valley, passing Pescia, the Anzana refuge (in the background the Mangina and Combolo lace) until we reach Col d'Anzana.
After a stop at elevation 2224 we resume our descent, immediately crossing the Italia trail (Cadorna line), we plunge into the pine forest until we reach Nemina Alta (1743 meters). From here we head halfway west crossing the Boalzo Valley and Val dei Cavalli to join the mule track from Prato Valentino (1600 meters) to Teglio (800 meters). Passing the village we pick up a mule track that takes us back east again crossing the Boalzo valley to the beautiful La Gatta vineyards, we plunge through the rows until we reach Bianzone, and once we reach the Adda River at the bottom of the valley we climb it from the bike path to Tirano.
