Monte Bestone passando dalla Forra

Today we are talking about a tour that is phenomenal from a scenic point of view but very challenging from a technical point of view. The parking lot and starting point is Limone sul Garda, from here, on asphalt, we take to the entrance of the Forra road to Tremosine del Garda as well as the eighth wonder of the world (best to do this early in the morning so you don't find traffic, especially in the tunnels).

The Forra is truly unique, and the section of the old road, which can only be traveled on foot or by bike, is a plunge into the past that evokes slumbering memories. Continuing along the road we arrive in Pieve di Tremosine, a coffee and ritual photo on the panoramic terrace and then off we go again. From here we start climbing again between bike paths and dirt roads until we take the single track that will lead us to the junction called "Bocca dei Sospiri," a look and a few photos at the stretch that presents itself before our eyes, that is, a glimpse of our beloved Lake Garda, and we resume the single track, challenging enough with roots and steep drops, that will lead us to face the first descent.

THE DESCENT THAT COMES IS, AT THE MOMENT OF OUR TOUR, BUSY FROM A TECHNICAL POINT OF VIEW, as it presents gullies dug probably by heavy rains that are impossible to cross in the saddle (so eyes wide open and possibly bike in tow). At the end of the descent we resume climbing towards Monte Bestone, following the Tremalzo Bike trail marker, initially very rideable and pleasant, towards the end it becomes intense until we reach the last section where we will carry on our backs. Again, ritual photo, book signing and off we go again.

ALSO THIS DOWNHILL IS VERY TECHNICAL AND VERY BUSY, BOTH AS A TERRAIN, BOTH AS AS AS ASPERITY that you will find during ALL of its run (again, very open eyes and possibly bike to the tarino). Again an uphill tear and then down to Limone sul Garda.

TOUR DEFINITELY SUITABLE FOR EXPERIENCED BIKERS WHO ARE NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NOT TO DO IT IN WET TERRAIN. TOUR SUITABLE FOR FULL-MTB and E-MTB FULL (beware the motor might touch on rocks or on the gradients)
