Castellaro Lagusello
Today we are talking about this beautiful loop tour that winds within the moraine hills. The departure is from Castellaro Lagusello. Castellaro Lagusello is a hamlet of Monzambano. The village stands on a small hill overlooking a heart-shaped lake. The lake and the castle, dating from 1100-1200, give its name to the small village, which is part of the association of "Italy's Most Beautiful Villages." The trail is characterized by continuous up and downs that give little respite to the legs.
Some of the connecting sections run on asphalt, so pay close attention because these are roads traveled by tractors and tankers. Unfortunately, the vegetation and falling trees do not always make the single tracks visible, plus some sections are now impassable because nature has taken its course, so you have to choose a couple of alternative routes (the track shows some out-and-back passages for this very reason), of course it is true that the fun is also in discovering new trails. We can only wish you good cycling and lots of fun.
