Dalla Val d' Incarojo alla Val Aupa
A beautiful double loop between Val d'Incarojo and Val Aupa ( 44km x 2530 ) with three beautiful descents through spectacular forests, one of the most toxic climbs in the region and a couple of respectable viewpoints. The ride involves 20/25min. of backcountry biking from the end of the Chianepade forest road to the meadows below Casera Turriee. Done a few days ago, the trails appear unusually clean and mowed, of note are a couple of easily bypassed single tree crashes in the section from Casera Turriee down to Forca Griffon; keep in mind that the singletrack from Forca Zouf di Fau down to Dierico will be muddy in more than a few sections in rainy weather. The descents are also technical but not extreme, but a few exposed sections require caution; however, this is not a ride for road riders lent to MTB. You can start from Dierico, hamlet of Paularo, or from Bevorchians, hamlet of Moggio Udinese, I recommend the first option so you can tackle the first deadly climb of the day from fresh.
