Tremalzo e Passo Nota

A route that is not very technical and within everyone's reach, but with spectacular views, the Tremalzo, a tour that should not be missing from our resume.

Some technical data: distance: 40km - time on the move: 4.00 hours - total elevation gain: 1500m - maximum elevation: 1800m - cyclability: 100% - suitable for MTB XC/AM.

Leaving the car near Vesio we head into the isolated San Michele valley where from the small lake the climb begins, after several hairpin bends on wide dirt road alternating with cemented and paved with interesting slope, but quietly rideable, we reach the wonderful Pis waterfalls.

Afterwards the slope decreases and with an alternation of slight ups and downs we reach the Tremalzo pass where we will find many bikers.

We continue a little more uphill until the tunnel that we cross, on the other side awaits the endless dirt descent that runs along the old military road; this is the most panoramic part of the entire route, it will leave you speechless! enjoy it!

Finished the long descent fun and full of hairpin bends, always on wide road easily passable, we face the last climb of the tour with its 150 meters of elevation gain and 3 km long to reach the Nota pass.

From here you can opt for the paved descent or continue along the military road, traveled by us, that will bring us back down to the starting point; first section is quite fun, always very fast but with some peculiar passages, after which it gradually becomes easier and easier until it becomes a dirt road.
