Brestovec, cava Jamiano, Bernie, Cima 3 monte San Michele, Isonzo

Departure from the parking lot of a supermarket in Savogna d'Isonzo, nearby we have a park with a drinking fountain.

We start with the ascent in the Gabria forest that will take us to the galleries of the Brestovec gunboat, then we descend into the Vallone and ascend on the opposite flank skirting the Jamiano quarry. We change fronts again and begin the climb to Mt. San Michele, crossing several World War I battlefields.

Savoring the view from St. Michael's Peak 3, we throw ourselves into two fun but undemanding descents that will take us on a flat trail that skirts the Soča River, and from there to our starting point. Not far away there is also a coin-operated car wash where we can possibly defang our bikes.
