Corno alle Scale

We start from La Ca' di Vidiciatico on asphalt road up to Laghetto del Cavone and then we reach Passo del Lupo following in sequence paths 329,333 and 339. From the pass we take Cai 411, a nice downhill path that leads to Ospitale that we will not reach because just before a small hut, where it is possible to refuel with water, on the left we find a detour that leads on the road to Capanno Tassoni. After a short stop we face the forest road to reach the Croce Arcana pass a 4.7 km climb of constant climbs almost all shaded.

Reaching the ridge we continue to the Strofinatoio pass passing under Mount Spigolino, Lake Scaffaiolo the pass of the three Terms and Cornaccio. Putting on our protective gear we are about to face a very long descent to the Segavecchia refuge. The first part, up to the Cancellino pass, very technical with a bumpy bottom and a couple of passages where you need to get off the bike, from the pass on the trail (Cai 121) is a succession of pure enjoyment.

From the Segavecchia refuge the last and interminable climb awaits us, very steep in the initial part. At the Sboccata dei Bagnadori the climb can be said to be finished and, having reached the Croce dei Colli pass, we conclude the tour with Cai 129.
