A caccia di sterrati tra Volta Mantovana e Cavriana - Numero 2

During the first route between Volta Mantovana and Cavriana that you can find here I had noticed that there were many possibilities to draw other routes. I therefore returned with the intention of designing a second route between the two towns. It turned out to be a nice route that was also very interesting technically.

Lots of dirt, little asphalt and several really nice single-track sections. I particularly liked three sections. The first is a beautiful single-track on eat-and-drink trail between Cavriana and Solferino. The second is a beautiful uphill and then downhill traverse through Monte Bosco Scuro coming out on Cavallara. The third is the ascent and subsequent descent along Monte del Vento, all dirt and quite challenging.

In the end it came out a really nice trail, quite challenging physically because of the constant up and down. Technically you just need some familiarity with some steep rocky ramps up and down. Need GPS to follow the not always obvious trail.
