Bellissimo itinerario in una Lessinia poco conosciuta
Wonderful and challenging route in a little-visited and fairly unknown Lessinia. The area concerned is that between the Vajo di Fumane and Cerna-Mondrago-Baraighe-Marezzane.vThe most interesting part is clearly the long descent from Spiazzo all the way down to the Vajo di Fumane.vAlong this very long descent one faces repeated ascents some of which are definitely challenging.
Because of this, the route is eventually quite physically demanding. Technically there are no challenging passages except for a short very steep section with repeated steps near Marezzane. The terrain along the entire descent is always dirt (except for a short stretch on asphalt) and long single-track sections on trail and mule track are encountered.
Absolutely necessary GPS and intuition in finding the route in the section after Mondrago and before the classic final descent.
