Parco del Curone-Montevecchia

Ride of about 40 km following part of the route of the Marathon Bike della Brianza. Departure from Casatenovo (Villa Greppi), go in the direction of Missaglia passing through the cemetery of Casatenovo towards Contra. Here there is a descent on dirt road with some jumps. Continue towards Missaglia and enter Curone Park following the life trail until you reach the climb of the Mayor (1200m climb on dirt road). Stop in the square of Montevecchia under the shrine. Return to the woods following the asphalt road, then descend from vi Deserto (descent on overhanging rocks). Short asphalt climb leading to a not very busy descent that leads to a junction with an uphill path that to the cypress road.

Direction for Cascina Galbusera Bianca to then take the path that you take from the parking lot. Descent on dirt surface on dirt. Follow Via Bagagera then turn onto Via Valfredda, following the path there are several small bridges to cross and a stream to ford (10cm of water). Coming out of the woods of follow the main road following the signs for Agriturismo Valcurone.

After A descent and an ascent continue following the narrow road, arrived at a shed take the path on the left that leads to Cascina Verdeggera. From here dicesa on pebbles (watch out for cars and people coming up this way especially on Sundays). Now take the provincial road again and then take a path that leads toward Lomagna, a flat path through the woods, with a small uphill tear toward the end. Descent always on a dirt road that flanks a vintage villa. From here you follow the road toward Casatenovo.

Very nice views especially when you are on top of Montevecchia.
