Nocciolo e Marta Brutta
Start from Villanova d'Albenga (SV), climb up the asphalt road to the hamlet of Case, and when you reach the top, at the junction to descend to Alassio, turn left, climbing always on asphalt to Madonna della Guardia. Ultra Panoramic view of the sea and Gallinara Island.
Halfway up there are two possibilities: the first and continue to climb on asphalt to the sanctuary. The second is to take the dirt road you meet on the right where there is a bar and take the path called the civic, where when you get to the end you take the mule track to the left and when you get to the asphalt road again to the left to climb up to Madonna della Guardia.
Shortly after about 200 meters you will see a small clearing on the right where the path the "Hazel" begins. It is a nice flowing up and down with two three technical points, with only the final part very technical and rocky. The trail has recently been cleared, and is now very pleasant and flowing.
Arriving at the bottom of this one, we find ourselves back from where we took the climb to the shrine and the drop-off for Alassio. We turn right as if to descend to Villanova, but immediately to after about 20 m on the left we meet the clean and flowing path that takes us onto the one called "Marta Brutta." This also cleaned and refurbished, nice and fast but very technical and stony, which takes us to the hamlet of Marta. At the end of this we come out in front of the Cemetery and here we have two options, either go down through the hamlet and paved road or continue to the right of the cemetery for another nice and fast single track.
