Forcella Zoppei e i sentieri della Val Lapisina
Route with ascent on asphalt and medium-high gradient dirt road up to Forcella Zoppei, re-descent of 1km and medium-fast trails with stretches of tight and technical hairpin bends only in the first part, immersed in the forest, sequence of road cuts until taking asphalt for the last 3km of descent.
Start from Longhere and climb immediately on asphalt with gradients that remain medium-high with a few breaths until a hairpin bend after 8km where you choose the steep cemented ramp to the left to find dirt road with steep ramps alternating with less steep sections, until you reach after 15km the Forcella Zoppei, just below Monte Agnellezze, with views of Belluno on one side and Vittorio Veneto on the other. Descend again on the same for about 1km to go up to the left and immediately take CAI985 (Troi de le Casere) towards Borgo Colon, at first very scenic on grassland, then in the woods, with a dirt-needle bottom and some moving stones. You gain the dirt road of the climb, which you follow again for 1km, and on the left you continue on the path towards Borgo Colon, with similar bottom but more sloping and with some rather technical narrow bends, then more smooth and fast, you pass the cave of Madonna del Landro, at the hamlet you take the Troi della Lissa through the meadows to come out fast at Croda Rossa, from which you climb briefly to Case Masot for the last short and very fast Troi del Masot on a more gravelly surface. You come out on asphalt and there is no alternative to the last 3km of asphalt to Longhere.
