Forcella di Val Barance
From Dont, ok in my case from Villa, by the Sottorogno dirt road to the top of Col de le Ole. Take uphill CAI 539, mind you, 539 not 530. This single track is, surprise, almost all rideable uphill to where it intersects 536. On 536, on the other hand, you will be forced to push your bike for more than a stretch, due to boulders and steps that are too high to be overcome in the saddle. Fortunately you cross very slightly uphill, and anyway after not even a long stretch you come out in the imposing amphitheater of the Barance valley, a direct continuation of the Van dei Gravinai. Here obligatory scenic stop, wondering what we are doing on a bicycle in such a place.
Be careful because the downhill trail is not marked, but since continuing uphill would soon prove impossible, there is little to go wrong. The trail begins with a nice steep slope on uneven ground, but improves as you enter the woods.
From Vach consider yourself free, however the gpx will guide you, still on single track, first to Colcerver and then to Pralongo. Particularly pretty is the section of the small bridges below Colcerver. Passing under the campsite down to Forno and, if you want to avoid the asphalt, you can return via Astragal and the Gaf di Malvarè.
