Description
Very hard route, because of the long, steep climb to Mt. Elmo, but very scenic.
You take the bicycle path from Dobbiaco to Sillian. From here you go up on the forest road to the Leckfeldalm (refreshment point). Now the most challenging part begins, in fact only the most trained will be able to pedal the entire climb. When we reach the Confine saddle, a spectacular view of the Sexten Dolomites awaits us. With a little big effort, we can also reach the Sillian hut. Now the long descent awaits us, first on a mule track to the ski lifts, then on a forest road to San Candido and on a bike path to the start.
