Description
Very beautiful and scenic route north of Merano. Challenging both ascent and descent, but very enjoyable.
From Merano, climb up to Vernurio via small paths and paved side road. then descend to Longfall via a nice trail that is not steep in the woods, but has technical sections. at the Longfall farm (refreshment) there are some nice trails along the valley do Sopranes before returning to Merano. Be careful, these trails are quite popular with tourists, best to plan this tour from November to March (it is usually doable throughout the winter)
