Forcella Medesc e forcella Sant Antone
Beautiful Dolomite itinerary, with two rather hard but not too long backpacking bike sections, Panoramas among the most beautiful in the Dolomites and wild places, except to ride the itinerary out of season, ideal in October, before the arrival of snow.
From La Villa climb to the Medesc Fork, with a good workout all in the saddle to the beginning of the scree. From here, partly pushing and partly pedaling (very little), with a last steep section to be done bike in hand, you arrive at forcella Medesc. Fantastic views.
Very nice descent with uphill sections to the Lavarella refuge. Above the refuge the ascent begins, first pedaling, to the forcella Sant'Antone. The scree section you can even pedal a bit, the climb is not very long and you get to the fork, with beautiful views. The descent is challenging, but with very few walking sections if you have good technique. The lower part is all fast and rideable.
Once at the bottom, there is more climbing to the la Crusc refuge, in beautiful mountain surroundings. From the refuge, with excellent refreshments and magnificent views, last fun descent on nice trail.
