Medma

Track to be used by mtb or gravel, starting from Nicotera, to tour the countryside between Limbadi and Rosarno. So you start from the small square of Nicotera in the direction of Limbadi, ride along the street dedicated to Nicholas Green and ride downhill in the Falconiera area. When you get down, you go toward Nicotera Marina, and just before reaching the town you turn left. The first dirt section begins. It is an almost flat stretch, with some sandy sections; you pass under a couple of railroad bridges, amidst mandarins. When the first stretch of dirt road is over, you ride for a very short distance on the provincial road, but turn left after a short while, taking a shortcut, with very disconnected asphalt, that skirts a golf course. When you reach the stop sign, turn right and descend, follow the road for about a kilometer and turn left. Now you alternate between a stretch of dirt and a stretch of asphalt, before entering a dirt road about 6 km long, with some climbs and descents, very enjoyable, ending with a nice flat section on the bank of the Mesima River.

At this point, small stretch on the SS18, and then turn right. One more stretch of asphalt that ends just below the railroad bridge, a point at which you must take the dirt road to the right. There are only 4 km of flat dirt road left, after which you pass through the pine forest and then go up the village.
