Monte Grappa MTB
The route climbs between the valleys of Monte Grappa.
First you climb to the Covolo Sanctuary (600 m.) and just to warm up the last stretch comes to 20% on asphalt. Next we go up along the Mulattiera del Covolo, which is all dirt, with a bad surface in places; the mule track is about ten kilometers long and a thousand meters of elevation gain. After that begins the first very easy dirt descent to Malga Cason dei Lebi. After the latter begins the ascent to the top of Monte Asolone - Crocelungo on a forest road. Inizaia a beautiful up and down on the ridge of the mountain that leads into the village of Cason delle Fratte. The route continues along a short stretch of single trak to the gentle descent of Strada delle Penise (a mule track), reached the village of Costalunga continue with ease along asphalt road to the starting point.
This route is very onerous from the point of view of the training required to tackle the climbs, mind turns out to be particularly easy the technical level of the descent.
I recommend spring/summer period (but not in too hot days because it is difficult to find water if you do not go to the various shelters).
