Tra Valtrebbia e Valtidone

Pleasant hiking tour among the first hills between Valtrebbia and Valtidone, done counterclockwise.

Depart Canneto, with dirt and asphalt road past Gazzola and Agazzano then along dirt roads to the Tidone stream. Now go up the stream on dirt roads following Tidone dam trail signs to the bridge. Tarmac uphill to Cantone then a succession of climbs and descents on dirt roads to Piozzano. Steep asphalt climb then dirt road to Rezzanello.

BEWARE of the 2 big dogs always loose at the houses above Torre Rizzi, they are not aggressive but big. Asphalt to Momeliano then dirt road and path to powder magazine, nice woods. Climb up to Monteraschio then through beautiful Croara woods, cross into the Trebbia and you are at the finish.

I had to go back up to Rivalta because the water intake was open, otherwise continue without going back up.
