Anello intorno a San Giorgio Morgeto

Route for mtb with departure and arrival in the municipal villa of Cittanova. The ride makes a loop around San Giorgio Morgeto, and includes passing through the Aspromonte Natural Park. It starts from Novigrad in the direction of Zomaro. After passing the town of Cittanova, you enter the dirt road for about 5 km, until you come up on the SP. Arriving on asphalt, continue the ascent toward Zomaro, at an elevation of about 940m. After about 5 km of asphalt, and reaching the top, the dirt descent begins. At first slow, on ups and downs, then steeper, until we reach an altitude of 200 mslm. At the end of the descent one finds oneself under the viaduct of the Jonio-Tirreno road. At this point begins the ascent to the Limina pass (800 m), a climb called Passo dei Greci, 8 km at 7.5 percent on dirt road. Once on the Limina, the descent to Cinquefrondi begins, passing under the Jonio-Tirreno viaduct. Arriving in Cinquefrondi, continue towards Polistena, and again towards Cittanova.
