Fitili

Road bike route along the Coast of the Gods, starting from Nicotera. You start by proceeding in the direction of Tropea, through the Sea Road, a scenic road in which you can pedal while enjoying the view of the Aeolian Islands.

You continue pedaling and pass through the towns of Joppolo and Ricadi, which precede Tropea. The asphalt is not the best, and in summer the road is very busy.

You arrive in Tropea and pass through the town center. Past Tropea you continue toward Parghelia, on the SS. At about km 30, you turn and start climbing toward Fitili, where there is a fountain. This is a very nice climb, consisting of 12 very narrow hairpin bends, with a fantastic view. The climb is not over yet, you have to pedal until you reach the Monte Poro plateau, at 610 m altitude.

At this point you head towards Nicotera, riding along the SP that crosses the Poro, enjoying the last descent that reaches the hamlet of Comerconi. A few kilometers and you have arrived in Nicotera.
