Bovalino Polsi

Mtb itinerary in the Aspromonte National Park. Start from Bovalino (RC) and ride along the SP leading to Natile Nuovo, after about 11 km of ascent. You proceed on this road for a few more km and cross Natile Antico, at an altitude of 330m. The ascent continues, pedaling amidst ancient trees and breathtaking views, such as that of the highest monolith in Europe, Pietra Cappa. You then continue until you reach the Sanctuary of Polsi, at an altitude of about 850m. After the visit to the Sanctuary, you climb about 8 km more until you reach an altitude of 1450. What follows is a short section of up and down, and then 20 km of dirt descent that takes you past the Bonamico Fiumara, past the village of San Luca and back to Bovalino, where you started. The route is challenging, not suitable for untrained or inexperienced people.
