Galatro MTB

MTB itinerary with departure from Nicotera. You proceed toward Rosarno, passing through Limbadi, until you reach the SS18. You take the road to Laureana di Borrello for a few km, and then take a dirt road, with a few stretches of asphalt, to Galatro. So far so quiet, except for a 500-meter climb at 17 percent. From Galatro you continue through a dirt road for a few km. Taking the way back, you turn right to take a shortcut, it is a paved road never open to the public, and you pass inside an unlit tunnel. You return to the SS18 and climb back to Limbadi from the road called Cardinusa. It remains only to return to Nicotera from the road taken on the outward journey.

The route involves a lot of asphalt, but there are some nice bits of dirt road that are worth doing. It is also suitable for inexperienced people
