TAVERNA - TIRIOLO

Itinerary starting from Taverna, passing through the village of Sorbo S. Basile along the SS109 after which it climbs until it laps the village of Fossato Serralta and then reaches 800 m above sea level at Donnalenardo. From here it descends along the road that first crosses the Melito River and then, past Gimigliano, the Corace River. After about 8 km, along SP40, you reach the viewpoint on Mount Tiriolo, from which you can admire the two seas and, on clear days, even the Aeolian Islands.
