Trittico Nicotera Limbadi Joppolo

Fun mtb ride not at all flat. You start from Nicotera, and head in the direction of Limbadi. Passed at the town of Limbadi you turn left at the crossroads, and ride downhill for a few km. So far it is all asphalt, on provincial roads. Immediately after the bridge you find in the bend to the right, you turn left and begin to climb on country roads, very uneven, until you arrive in the built-up area of Motta Filocastro (visit the village!). You proceed to Mandaradoni, and take a shortcut that pops up on SP29. Here you take a climb called "Pumareja," 2km at 12%. When you get to the top, turn left (watch out for dogs) and continue for about a km and then turn left and go down to Preitoni. You make a small loop in on dirt road and climb up to Monte Poro. From here you descend to Coccorino and ride on back roads, which are very scenic. At this point you pedal on the sea road and descend to Joppolo mare. Last effort and you climb back up to Nicotera.

The ride includes many stretches of asphalt, but most of it is rough asphalt; these are back roads frequented by farm vehicles.
