Rombiolo - Zungri

Route for mtb starting from Nicotera, with mixed terrain. You start on asphalt along the provincial road to Rombiolo. Once in Rombiolo you take the road to San Calogero and after almost a kilometer turn left, and climb a 400-meter wall at 19%. At the end of the climb you turn right and after 600 meters turn right again. A stretch of dirt road about 8 km long begins, leading to Scaliti. From Scaliti you continue and pass through Filandari until you reach Mesiano. You can make a stop to fill your water bottle at the fountain in front of the church, and continue by taking the road to Papaglionti. Before arriving in the town, you turn left and take a nice piece of dirt road about 4.5 km long that leads to Zungri. You pass by the town of Zungri and arrive on the Monte Poro plateau. You follow the provincial road that leads to Nicotera, except then turn left to take a shortcut that, passing through the fields of Puglisa, allows you to quickly reach Caroni, then return to Nicotera.
