Tropea da Gasponi

Excursion for mtb, starting in Nicotera. The ride starts on asphalt, following the road to Limbadi. At the first traffic circle turn left and proceed to Caroni. At Caroni you take a shortcut and lead onto SP29. As you get off at Monte Poro, shortly after the only fork you come to, take a small road on the left, and follow it. It is a country road, where you are likely to encounter dogs, which quickly leads onto the SP from Tropea to Spilinga. You proceed for about 1 km on this provincial road, and then turn left. This is another entirely unpaved shortcut that leads onto another provincial road. You travel about half a km on this road and then turn right and immediately left. The fun begins, about 6 km of flat or downhill dirt road with a nice surface, where you have to be careful (in winter) of the channels that the rain has formed. The dirt road ends just before the 7 hairpin bends that precede Drapia. At this point you continue to the overlook on the course of Tropea, and return to Nicotera from the provincial road, with a stop at Grotticelle beach.
