Description
Fast stage to be done by road bike, starting from Paola (CS). After passing the sanctuary of San Francesco da Paola, the itinerary includes riding along ss18 to Pizzo Calabro, with stops in Gizzeria (for a swim) and Pizzo (for ice cream). Afterwards, continue to Nicotera, passing Vibo Valentia and driving along the Monte Poro plateau. Arrival downhill in Nicotera, a balcony overlooking the sea, from which there are fantastic views from the Aeolian Islands to the Strait of Messina.
