Riva del Garda, Ponale, Punta Larici e lago di Ledro

Super-classic Upper Garda loop. Departure from Riva, from convenient free parking served by a bike path that allows us to get away from the city in the direction of the Ponale trail. Taking the latter, we begin to climb on dirt road in the direction of Pregasina with the waters of Lake Garda always clearly in view. Once in the village, you can refill your water bottles at the fountain, then take the path that, with some decent ramps, leads up to Bocca Larici. From here we recommend a detour to Punta Larici to admire Lake Garda from a unique position. After that we proceed, in this order, in the direction of malga Palaer, Rocchetta pass, Guil pass, Segala hut to then intercept the forest road that descends into the Ledro valley. We skirt the lake and follow the signs of the path/cycleway that from Molina di Ledro takes us back, after a few kilometers, to the Ponale trail and from there to the starting point.
