Monte Ravino
After a few kilometers we arrive at the Forbici Pass where we take the Cai 603 trail also known as Romita, one of the most beautiful trails in this Apennine area. When we reach the built-up area we gain the road, continuing the trail but without descending on Civago. We head toward Case Cattalini from where a nice dirt road, never challenging, begins. We follow it to the point where it crosses the Segheria forest road and continue uphill to the Lama Lite pass.
We reach Passone passing through the Battisti refuge and then continue on Cai trail 607 until we reach the summit of Mount Ravino. One must carry the bike on one's back a little.
The descent is practically all doable in the saddle except for two points where you have to descend if you stay on the trail or freeride a few dozen meters if you really want to stay in the saddle. The trail is pleasant in spite of and in a short time we are on the forest road traveled a few hours earlier. We continue the 607 until we intersect the 631A or Cavallina trail that leads to the San Leonardo refuge in Dolo. The trail is fantastic, so clean I had never found it, and fun is provided by the many tight switchbacks to tame. From the refuge we continue on trail 605A first and 605 then until we reach the Royal Abetina or Sawmill.
Now all we have to do is return to the Casone on the beautiful forestry trail that up to the Forbici Pass is slightly uphill and then downhill until we reach the starting point.
