Paesana - Pian Munè - Croce Turnour - anello orario

Nice spring/autumn clockwise route. Start in Paesana and descend from sp 26 outside the village to take the orographic right to Croesio and Borghini.

After about 4km of asphalt from the start begins a wide dirt road to Salis and then about a km of off-road trail to the asphalt road to Pian Munè. Several fountains are on the route.

Another 2 km of asphalt and at a bend you resume dirt to Rifugio Bertorello and then a not steep, but bumpy stretch to Pian Munè (no denying that a runner passed me light and graceful).

You descend on asphalt for a few hundred meters to take a path on the left into green heathland. Below you catch a glimpse of a wide dirt road to join and follow to Croce Tournour.

Unfortunately the fog prevents you from enjoying the view, Monviso over all. Very nice descent, the first section up to the huts is steep with crumbly terrain, then splendid forest trail, easy and smooth with a few slightly more challenging passages, only 5-10 meters to be done on foot because of the somewhat landslide terrain.

The trail is very well marked by white and green arrows indicating Porcili, and ends in Erasca.

Return on provincial road to Paesana.
