CORNA SONCLINO IN CRESTA E LA VALLE DEI FIORI
We start from the Esselunga supermarket in that of Cogozzo di Sarezzo and climb towards Lumezzane until we reach Termine, where we turn left and begin the final part of the climb towards the Corna. From the church of San Nicola the slopes become serious and try to find your rhythm without overdoing it: you will make it without problems. We pass San Bernardo (820 m ) where if you wish you can detour to visit the beautiful Serafino Zani Astronomical Observatory. We continue behind the observatory on path then again on the paved-cemented road. We proceed straight ahead and shortly after arrive at Campo di Gallo (1290 m ). There are now the last few meters to the Corna di Sonclino and its Cross located at 1352 m, which you will reach with a very fast push section. Time for a short stop then we face the very vertical ridges. Shortly after we will deviate definitively to the left on mule track. About 500 me attention again: the Trail Valle dei Fiori ( 368-9 ) officially begins. Very narrow but fun with all the features you need to have fun without taking too much speed. Again absolute spectacle and in the air the sound we like made of rock n' roll at times crunchy. We continue for a bit on the outward road where we deviate to the left at some point. Now we have a quick uphill stretch of about 8-10 minutes to go to nab the final trail: the Cagnaghe Trail. It is not very long but believe me it will engage you to the end with rocks and flow passages mixed together to reach the Redocla Creek. A small bridge will mark the end of the adventure. Enjoy the raid.
