Sentiero 122 Limone sul Garda

Extreme route overlooking #garda, advisable only for masochists looking for the super technical. The ascent is the usual one, i.e. start from Riva del Garda and climb to Punta Larici. The trail plans to push up the Trout trail because when we did this ride they were resurfacing the Ponale road but, just so, ride that to avoid the unnecessary initial push section.

You climb up to Pregasina from where the road becomes steeper and takes you to the most beautiful balcony on Lake Garda, Punta Larici (the trail leads up to Malga Palaer because we wanted to take the 122 from Passo Rocchetta but there was snow and we turned back). After the usual photos, the very rough descent begins on trail 122, poorly maintained, full of loose rocks and exposed in places. You can see it well in the video.

You arrive in Limone, from where you first take the Garda bike path and then the Gardesana Occidentale to return to Riva. Lights recommended given the many tunnels.
