Da Finale Ligure a Sanremo senza Aurelia

Road bike route: The route starts in Finale Ligure and climbs to Melogno. It then descends to Calizzano before climbing again to Quazzo, descends toward Garessio, continues toward Nava, and descends to Pieve di Teco. You then climb toward Lavina before tackling the tough climb through the Prezzo Woods. You then reach Passo Teglia and continue toward Andagna. From there, you climb toward the Lagan Pass, continue to the fork in the road, and then head toward Bajardo. You then head toward Passo Ghimbegna, descend toward San Romolo, and take a steep descent toward Sanremo. Return by train.

Exercise caution in the Imperia hinterland, as the road surface is not in the best condition. This route requires excellent physical conditioning and is not suitable for everyone due to the elevation gain.
