Monte Bibele

Excursion between the Idice and Zena valleys and Monte Bibele. Start from the parking lot of the trattoria just before Ca di Bazzone and climb up the paved road to the sanctuary of Monte delle Formiche. Continue on the paved road to the entrance of Monte Bibele Park (visitor center) and climb towards Monte Bibele, going around the mountain in a counterclockwise direction. Climb towards the summit and then move left towards the necropolis to take the "Snake" singletrack and then the "Biondina": a beautiful technical trail with steep slopes and beautiful passages on rock. You will arrive at Bisano and here you will climb up the opposite ridge via Collina. Follow this road, alternating between dirt and asphalt, until just above Monterenzio, where you take a marked but unmarked trail (follow the GPS track) that descends to Rocca (a flowing trail with some technical passages). At Rocca, turn right and follow the asphalt road back to the parking lot. Difficulty in some sections: S3.
